300 miles walked! That landmark came at the end of Harbour View, Methil. Bayview Stadium, home to East Fife FC, is just 150m down the road. Seems as good a reason as any to choose East Fife as my favourite football team. I wonder if they are any good? I must admit I don’t recall having heard any breathless reports of matches between East Fife and Real Madrid, for example, so possibly not. It doesn’t matter, of course, because any football league table is just a ranking of how much money the owners have. More impressively, I see that of the 24 players on their books, 22 are Scottish and one is from the Netherlands. There’s an Englishman too, but you can’t win ’em all. Go go Fifers!
